About Me

I'm a photographer and creative from South Carolina and based in the DMV – the place I’ve called home since 2008, outside of 4 years living in NYC. After taking a five-year break from shooting, I'm returning to photography with a renewed appreciation for the art and a lot of ideas I'm excited to explore. 

 

My work is often influenced by nature, light, music, and moments that feel honest – the quiet expressions, subtle gestures, and little pieces of someone's personality that can't always be captured in words. 

 

I tend to gravitate toward images that feel a little cinematic, a little nostalgic, and above all, human. And, I’m especially drawn to the intimacy and timelessness of black-and-white portraiture. 

 

Photography has always felt like a way of paying closer attention.
